To anybody who still checks out this website despite my nearly month long absence – I will not be posting again for a while. Life has been so busy lately, but I’m working on a new project to branch off from this blog. It’ll be my own domain – with content as seen on this blog, as well as lots of other exciting stuff. 🙂 I promise to keep you posted (somewhat…), and to keep reading all of your blogs when I can. Thank you!

I may be a little late jumping on the bandwagon, but I have just recenty realized that if I don’t get my paws on this Gucci “Guccioli” Bag, my world will end. So my money saving journey begins.

Hello everyone! After not updating for more than a week, I feel like I’ve got to post some exciting stuff to make it up to my readers. I’ve just started a new job, and after working all day I pretty much come home and pass out, haha. Not a lot of time to devote to fashion, sadly. Tomorrow I’m (finally) attending the last day of Vancouver Fashion Week! The final show is going to be an International Design Competition of sorts, with entrants from Germany, Norway, USA, Canada, and so on… or so I’ve heard. I promise to post a million pictures and babble on and on about anything beautiful that I see! Also showing tomorrow is menswear’s Drew William, who worked with Danish designer Henrik Vibskov before debuting his own collection for F/W 2009. Check out the Lookbook featured on his website.
I’ve also discovered a competition called America’s Most Stylish Blogger, in which 8 style-savvy girls are sent one new item per week to create a cool outfit around. It’s being presented by StyleList.com and Bluefly.com. My personal favourites are Trang Huyen of Behind The Seams, Nikki Moose of Dirty Flaws and Tiffany Tse of Style Sophisticate. This week’s round involves a killer pair of grey Prada booties, which you can see below, as photographed by Trang Huyen. So jealous.
On a different note, I found another blog with the name “The Daily Doll”, which seems to have been created earlier this month. Feeling a little bummed because I thought I had found something unique and personal, which someone else has now claimed as their own. Oh well, it is just the internet after all, and people are bound to come up with the same ideas now and then.
Oh, and by the way, the 2009 BMC Graduation Fashion Show is now scheduled for Tuesday, November 24th! I’ll see you there. (;

Just want to let you all know that there won’t be any new posts until Monday or Tuesday of next week. I’ll be out of town and out of time, so… see you soon.
Once again I had no time to write today. I am getting my Vancouver Fashion Week ticket tomorrow though, super excited! The photo above is just something that was stored away on my computer. If you know where it’s from, please let me know!
I found this great website today while searching for designer vintage online. PoshVintage.com has a wide variety of memorable designer pieces (from YSL to Givenchy), to unique, less recognizable items. They’re based out of Miami, and let you check out their showroom if you call in advance. Most of their stuff is from the 60’s and 70’s, with the occasional older gem to be found. Look below for some of the things that caught my eye.
Also, here’s the photo of me taken on the street by Charles of Sartorial Vancouver! I think that I look like the wind is about to blow me over (which could have been the case)…

While walking around downtown I ran into a fashion photographer who stopped me to take a few photos for his street style website! As soon as they’re up, I’ll post a link. Also, I spent the day looking for a nice leather jacket… and found one. Pictures later. What a day! The featured photo is just a cool jacket that I found online. I love it because jackets of this length (or a bit shorter) make your upper body look longer, and by using denim it makes the whole look more playful and young.
